The name of the novel comes from the Yorkshire manor, around which the story centers, the word Wuthering refers to turbulent weather in Yorkshire. The story is a narration that tells the story of a thwarted yet passionate love affair between Heathcliff and Catherine Earnshaw and then events that follow; events that led to their destruction, along with many around them.
